While Wetpaint.com might be banned in China, we’ve found our way there one way or another! David Steinke, our former Business Development intern, dropped us a line from the Great Wall. He will be in China for 3 months taking in the sites, learning (he’s taking classes at Southwest University), and having fun with several Seattle Pacific University classmates along for the adventure. He’s been up to some pretty cool stuff so far and sharing stories on David’s blog while on the trip.
Interestingly enough, China might just be the place to go for those affected by the financial crisis. David reports ferry trips for 15 cents and the average meal for under $2. Cheap and delicious - now that sounds great!
We’ll be keeping up with David’s travels via his blog and we look forward to seeing where the paint can ends up next.

freshcoats is a blog about Wetpaint, collaboration, technology, random acts of higher beings, and other stuff that’s always relevant to something, somewhere. But no matter what, it's always fun and always written by the folks at Wetpaint. Authors so far include Ben Elowitz, Kevin Flaherty, Michael Bolognio, Troy Morris, and more to come.
