True Blood Wiki Reaches Audiences All Over!

truebloodwiki.pngHBO made the leap into the Web 2.0 world several months ago and they’ve seen fantastic results from it!  Communities have been buzzing for some of their most popular shows like Entourage, and even for shows that, at the time, hadn’t premiered yet, like True Blood.  Since their release these sites have been a hot bed of community activity, where fans come to share thoughts, opinions, and so much more.  Many fans also use the chat room feature as a way to watch the show with others who are just as passionate about the show as they are.

Recently, at the end of a fantastic episode, HBO laid a promo for the show including a great screen shot (see above) of the wiki as well as several comments from the wiki members!  Big props to hasani87, bloodelderherbert, nynygurl, fangbangerwannabe, VampAnnie, Belle-Angelique, SookieCompton, and bittenbyu for all having your comments make the commerical, awesome job!

Hi,
We would be so pleased if you can post a fundraising effort for Brentwood Theatre, for which STEPHEN MOYER is Patron.

As you likely know, Stephen is “Bill Compton” on TRUE BLOOD!

With Steve’s approval, we are seeking funds to complete the renovations of our wonderful community theatre. Steve grew up in Brentwood and readily agreed to be our Patron.

If you will kindly email me, I can send you the Press Release for your consideration. Perhaps you could provide a link in your WIKI news?!

Thank you so much; I look forward to hearing from you shortly!
Excelsior!

Jean
