Wow. The LGBTQ community is speaking louder and clearer than it ever has. Hundreds of thousands of protesters are organizing themselves right now at Join the Impact to put on one of the largest and most passionate displays, nationwide, that we’ve seen. It doesn’t matter what state you live in, there is at least one protest per state, with over 150 cities signed up so far and if you don’t see a city close to you, DON’T GET FRUSTRATED, GET ACTIVE! Be the first to start a rally in your city and be among the quarter of a million people who are just as upset as you are. The protest is scheduled to take place ths Saturday, November 15th at 1:30m EST, 10:30am PST.

In case you’re not familiar with Proposition 8 and the injustices it implies, here’s a bit of a background, although, you can certainly learn more at the website:
“Proposition 8 is a California State ballot proposition that would amend the state Constitution to restrict the definition of marriage to a union between a man and a woman. It would overturn a recent California Supreme Court decision that had recognized same-sex marriage in California as a fundamental right. The official ballot title language for Proposition 8 is “Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry.” The entirety of the text to be added to the constitution is: “Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.”
This will be the best time to make your voice and your opinion heard - make sure you’re out on Saturday!
